Just thought I’d share a couple of quick cards I made today for a friends sister who is celebrating her 60th birthday tomorrow. It can be quite difficult making more than one card for the same person and trying to make them look completely different to each other but here goes!
I’ve used the Scruffy Little Cat cd rom by Crafter’s Companion for this one, I really love these girls, I’ve just added some glitter, gems and a bit of glossy accents.
So this one is made using the La Femme digi kit from DaisyTrail and again I’ve just added glitter, gems and gloss.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you all have a good weekend.
Well today has been a very emotional day for our family, I’ve been dreading this day for so long but at the same time I feel extremely proud. Our eldest son spread his wings and went off to uni, it’s been a difficult day and I feel very, very emotional, I feel like a part of me is missing and so far I haven’t coped very well. My youngest son who is just thirteen is heart broken, our boys are very close and Benjamin has never been away from home before, I think it’s going to take awhile to adjust but I’m sure we’ll get there😦
This is taken at his halls in the kitchen diner, it’s a lovely new build and very nice too! I’m sure he’ll have an amazing time and make some fabulous memories, I just miss him so much😦
Sorry no cards, hope to post some soon.
August is a bit of a busy month for me with birthdays, my sister, my niece and myself all have our birthdays one after the other, 23rd, 24th and 25th of August, you couldn’t plan that if you tried…..lol This is the card I made for my niece who was turning ten and going into her last year at primary school (the years have flown!)
I have used a My Besties cd rom but I pulled the image and the frame into craft artist so I could insert the image into the frame for printing and I then decoupaged the bow in her hair and her fringe, added lots of glitter (of course) and some glossy accents to her eyes.
Thanks for continuing to visit my blog, I truly appreciate it and I shall pop back soon to show you a birthday gift I made for my sister.
Oops, it’s been awhile again! :O I’d actually forgotten that I hadn’t posted this card which I made for a friends birthday a couple of months ago. I’ve used my Fab Glam Fifties cd rom for the topper and the paper is by K&Co, which I have had for many years. :O
Pearls Ribbon and flowers are from my stash.
Thanks again for stopping by, makes it all worthwhile🙂
Omg this month also appears to be flying by, I can’t keep up, Christmas in six months……arrrrrrrh!!! But before I start on my Christmas cards I do have a few more cards to show that I’ve made over the last couple of weeks.
This is the card I made for my dad’s 70th birthday last week, I used a download from the Clipart Fairy but it would appear her website is down at the moment, but Paper Creator do one very much the same here.
I have used my Cricut machine and ‘Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to cut the letters and numbers. Ok off to make another card before the boys arrive home from school and college.

This is the card I made a few weeks ago for a friends husband who was celebrating his 70th birthday. I’ve used the cd rom Fabulous Fella’s by Katy Sue, it has something to suit most men and this card was just perfect as my friends husband is an artist.
This is one of the print and go cards and the tent card template is also on the disc. It’s a great cd rom for the guys and I really should use it more often, along with a million and one other items in my craft stash….lol😉

This is the card I made for my niece when she had her first baby a few weeks ago.
The image is Nitwits and the paper is Fizzy Moon. Sorry about the quality of
the photo but I'm not very good with the camera! :O
Thanks for visiting.
