Christmas Cards…..arrrrrgh!

Haha, thought I would share these with you and make you panic even more at how close it is!?  I made the cards at a class I attended a couple of weeks ago but didn’t manage to complete them, so finally, ta dah!

Christmas Card 2014

Well its been a while but Happy New Year and I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas and thank you for still visiting me in my absence.   I have still been crafting amongst other things but haven’t photographed most of it but I did remember to do this one.

Fizzy Moon Christmas Fizzy Moon Christmas (back)

This is the Christmas card I made for my parents.  I got the idea from a card class I attended which was run by Wendy Carr from ‘The Clipart Fairy‘, I’m really pleased that it worked 🙂

Hopefully things will get back to normal since the holidays have come to an end and I will remember to take pictures of my cards 😉

Have a good weekend

Hugs Vicki xx

I’m a little bit late posting this today, I’ve been nursing a headache all day (again)  and only just starting to feel better.  I thought I’d share the batch of Christmas cards I’ve been working on recently, they’re pretty simple but I need to make quite a few for friends and neighbours.  I haven’t even started on the family ones yet!

I’ve only photographed a few to show, hope you like them!

The snowflake die is by ‘frantic stamper’ and the ‘joy’ die is from Clearly Besotted.  I’ve added some glitter and gems to the snowflakes and cut the sentiment from silver miri card.  And on that note, I think it’s time for bed 😉

Christmas Card & A Challenge.

Since it’s getting closer every day (scary) I thought I would make a start with the ‘C’ cards and enter them into a challenge or few 😉  I remembered the free stamp set from Spellbinders that was in one of the craft magazines last year (I think.)  So out it came, stamped onto white card, covered with Stampin’Up! heat & stick, heat embossed and then before it dries cover with SU dazzling diamonds glitter and heat emboss a second time.

I’ve added some blue pearls, clear gem stone and a ribbon, the sentiment is also from the Spellbinders stamp set.

Thanks for visiting,

Vicki x

I would like to enter this card into the following;

Christmas Card Challenge – Anything Goes

ABC Christmas Challenge – T for Tree Ornament

Christmas Stampin All Year Long – Non Traditional Colours

Holly Jolly Christmas – Anything Goes

Christmas (eek!)

Just thought I’d pop in to share this with you, I know it’s far to early but to be fair I have had this stamp set for twelve months plus (oh dear!)

It’s a great little set by Lindsay Mason, cute & cheeky!  Back to my couch now, I’m nursing a headache (joy!)

Have a good weekend and hope the weather stays good 😉

Crafty Catch Up.

Well it seems I’m not doing so well with this regular blogging, haven’t  managed it yet!  Last week I had a catch up with one of my crafty friends Keren, didn’t get much crafting done though, more chatting I think but I did manage to make a card as well.

Yes another Christmas card, that makes two, think I’m on a roll…lol

Now Keren is a very inspirational person and can turn her hand to anything not just crafting and so on that note I must share with you this amazing set of stamps that she designed and had produced.

And this is a ‘thank you’ card I made using them.  Now I’m not sure just how many of these Keren had made but I know she did have some sets left to sell, you can check out her blog here.

Well time for bed but thank you for stopping by, I am grateful 😉
