A Day for Daisies.

I came across these gorgeous little images here, quite awhile ago now but have never got around to joining in with one of their challenges (here.)  But times have changed…lol and here is my card for their latest challenge, which is to add ‘green’.

I’ve cut around the image using a ‘Nellie Snellen’ die and placed a piece of green card behind so it shows through the cut outs.  The image is coloured with copics and the wings have been glittered up with ‘glamour dust’.  I have used a ‘Crafts Tee’ embossing folder on the base card and added a tiny butterfly too.

Thank you all for visiting my blog, I really appreciate it and love reading the comments that are left! 🙂

Have a great weekend.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenge,

MilkCoffee Challenge Emboss it!

Clearly Besotted Challenge.

I’m cutting it a bit fine I think with this months colour challenge over at the Clearly Besotted blog but I finally managed  to make a card, woohoo!

I always seem to struggle with a colour challenge, I never know which colour to use where and this card was no different but I got there in the end 😉

Have a lovely weekend peeps,

supplies used – CBS – leafy accents & matching die, fancy florals & matching die, in the frame & matching die – Stampin’up! – certainly celery, bashful blue ink pads.  Grey pearls & red card from stash.

‘Prima Doll’ Happy Birthday.

Did I say I was going to try and blog more often!?….Haha (oh I am funny!)  I have to admit to forgetting about this card though, I made it back in January but couldn’t post it until the recipient had received it and the rest is history (as they say.)

I do love this stamp, I’ve had it quite a while but couldn’t ink her up because she didn’t fit onto any of my stamping blocks.  The digi kit I have used is called ‘Vintage Oreos’ and is available here, they have some absolutely gorgeous kits and they are free! Well worth a look.

So since it’s half-term this week I am hoping to get some crafty time in, all being good 😉    Wish this weather would brighten up though!

Lavinia Challenge

Sorry for the absence, just a really quick post from me today as I have a funeral to go to this morning 😦

This is my card for the challenge over at ‘Lavinia  Stamps‘  I have used another one of the die cuts from a kit I bought. I’ve framed it using miri card and added lots of glitter and gloss, oh and I have stamped the background using a versamark ink pad! 🙂

The theme for the challenge this month was to use the colour Blue or Lilac or both.  I think you guess what I went with 😉

Back soon, Vicki x

Sweet 16.

I think most people would say ‘if only’ or ‘yes please’ but actually I don’t think I would like to be young again in this day and age (sad as it sounds.)   It’s probably not but it seems to be harder for young people now than it was when I was younger ( awhile ago now…lol)

So today I have a really lovely card to share which I made using the new cd rom from Serif  called ‘La Femme’.   My sons friend (and neighbour) turned ‘sweet sixteen’  and the images on this cd rom are just perfect for any age.

Not the best photographs I’m afraid but you can just see the glaze on the lights and a tonne of glitter…lol (I do like sparkle.)  I would highly recommend this if you like cd roms.

Have a good weekend, despite the rain 😦
