I’m a little bit late posting this today, I’ve been nursing a headache all day (again) and only just starting to feel better. I thought I’d share the batch of Christmas cards I’ve been working on recently, they’re pretty simple but I need to make quite a few for friends and neighbours. I haven’t even started on the family ones yet!
I’ve only photographed a few to show, hope you like them!
The snowflake die is by ‘frantic stamper’ and the ‘joy’ die is from Clearly Besotted. I’ve added some glitter and gems to the snowflakes and cut the sentiment from silver miri card. And on that note, I think it’s time for bed 😉
Just thought I’d share a couple more cards I made at the ‘Clipart Fairy’ workshop I went to last weekend.
Thanks for stopping by 😉
I would just like to say how excited I was to win the challenge over at Paper Creators blog last week, you’d have thought I’d won a million pounds the way I was umming and arrhing as to what I was going to buy with it…lol Anyway I finally decided on this mega bundle here , since I’ve been dying to try one of these box cards and given it’s nearly Christmas it made sense to have the Christmas themed one as opposed to the every day one.
So on to my card and yes I have used the above kit but to make a birthday card!
I made the box using the Christmas mega bundle and the embellishments are from this kit here, the flowers were made using a memory box die called ‘cherry blossom’. I have mounted the ballet shoes onto acetate to give them a bit more stability and of course added a tonne of glitter and some gems! 😉 So on that note, I would like to enter this into the challenge over on the Paper Creators blog, which is pink or blue with buttons. Do pop over and have a look they have some fabulous images, kits and mega bundles!
Have a great weekend and thanks for visiting! 😉
Well,I can’t tell you what an amazing day I had yesterday with one of my crafty friends, we attended a fabulous workshop that was run by Wendy, the ‘Clipart Fairy‘ herself and it was so good! In total we made six projects but I’ll not bombard you with photographs, so here are two of the beautiful cards we made.
They are not normally the style of card I would make, but IRL they really are beautiful. I shall post a couple more soon.
I’m still here, just haven’t had a chance to post but got two days off now so hopefully I will fit in some crafty time! 😉 I do have a card to share which I actually made about a week ago :O It’s one of my favourite images from Paper Creator, they have so many fabulous images, kits, and toppers to download, so pop over and take a peek.
Over on the Paper Creator’s blog, they have a challenge which is ‘anything goes’ but add a ‘charm’, so this is what I came up with. I didn’t think my card was the right style to add a charm, so I’ve put it were I think it looks best.
Thanks again for popping by, hope you all have a lovely weekend (even if it does rain, boo!)
Since it’s getting closer every day (scary) I thought I would make a start with the ‘C’ cards and enter them into a challenge or few 😉 I remembered the free stamp set from Spellbinders that was in one of the craft magazines last year (I think.) So out it came, stamped onto white card, covered with Stampin’Up! heat & stick, heat embossed and then before it dries cover with SU dazzling diamonds glitter and heat emboss a second time.
I’ve added some blue pearls, clear gem stone and a ribbon, the sentiment is also from the Spellbinders stamp set.
Thanks for visiting,
