Today I am sharing a card that I’ve made for the Paper Creator challenge. I have used the ‘ Two Hearts’ – 6×6 card kit, here but I’ve not followed the ready made card style, I did my own take on it.
The kit also includes a matching insert and envelope too (great value!) I’ve added some pearls, lots of glitter and the die cut corners, from my stash.
Thanks for visiting and hope you all have a lovely weekend, I’m off to an all day card making class tomorrow (excited!) 😉
Hi, just thought I’d quickly share the card I have made for my mum for Mothers Day.
I’m afraid it’s another one from the cd rom ‘A Play on Words’ by Ella’s Design but this time I’ve made it 8×8 in size.
Have a good weekend
Well I have actually managed to make a card for a challenge today (last night actually…lol). I thought I might join in the challenge over at The Ribbon Girl blog, to make a card using the colours ‘ivory & cream’, this is what I came up with.
I’m afraid the photo’s are not very good, the sun was shinning (but I’m not complaining!) The image and papers are Fizzy Moon, the flowers are from Hobby Craft and the ribbon is Mei Flower.
Thank you for visiting, I do appreciate it 🙂
…. Another one from the cd rom ‘A Play on Words’ by Ella’s Design and I’m not even halfway through yet. This is for a lady at the card class/group that I go to on a Wednesday night, we just do our own thing but it’s nice to meet up and have a chat.
Image and papers from cd rom, card stock and ribbon are Stampin’Up! but I can’t remember what make the corner die is (sorry!)
Today I’m sharing the Valentine cards I have made for my two boys. I used the fabby free gift of ‘Clearly Besotted’ stamps which were in this months issue of ‘Simply Cards & Papercraft‘ and not a Valentine stamp in sight!
This one I have used the ‘sweet’ stamp and one of the ‘sentiment’ stamps (from the free set) but only inked up the word ‘heart’.
Again I have used another sentiment stamp (from the free set) just inking up the word I wanted to use and the heart is made using a leaf stamp and matching die from the ‘Fancy Florals’ stamp set available here. The arrow is hand drawn and the doodling around the edge of the card is a digi download.
I’ve decided the less stash you have to work with the more you put your thinking cap on, so I think we should all de-clutter and that way Mr Mojo will always be by our side……you first….lol
Have a great weekend and if you’re on half-term (like me) have a fab week off! 😉
Just a couple of cards I’ve made using a cd rom ‘A Play on Words’ by Ella’s Design. The first one is quite clean and simple and took no time at all to make, great for those last minute makes (story of my life!)
And this one is decoupaged but you can’t actually see it very well.
This cd rom is such good value for money and has something for everyone, well worth investing in.
Just off to have another look and see what I can come up with for ‘Mothers Day’, I’m just too organised at the moment…..lol 😉
Thanks for stopping by
Just thought I’d share with you today the card I’ve made for my youngest sons birthday next week. I can’t believe my baby will be twelve years old, it’s just flown by.
He likes to play the drums at school, so this seemed really appropriate. I see lots of cards around with the inside as well as the outside decorated, so I thought I would make more effort to do the same.
Oh yes nearly forgot, I have used ‘The Best Of La Pashe 2012’ cd rom to make my card but the sentiment and number are computer generated.
Thanks for visiting and hope your weekend is going well 😉
