Workshop Wedding Card

As promised I’m back to share another workshop card with you.  I just adore this card, it’s so elegant but my photograph’s just don’t do it justice.

It is available as a download here if you would like to purchase it.  I’m hoping to get some crafty time in today, as my eldest son and hubby have gone to visit Leeds University.  Not looking forward to this time next year though and waving goodbye……..:(

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Two Hearts and A Challenge

Today I am sharing a card that I’ve made for the Paper Creator challenge.  I have used the  ‘ Two Hearts’ – 6×6 card kit, here but I’ve not followed the ready made card style, I did my own take on it.

The kit also includes a matching insert and envelope too (great value!)   I’ve added some pearls, lots of glitter and the die cut corners, from my stash.

Thanks for visiting and hope you all have a lovely weekend, I’m off to an all day card making class tomorrow (excited!) 😉

Happy Couple and a Challenge

Well I have actually managed to make a card for a challenge today (last night actually…lol).  I thought I might join in the  challenge over at The Ribbon Girl blog, to make a card using the colours ‘ivory & cream’, this is what I came up with.

Fizzy Moon

I’m afraid the photo’s are not very good, the sun was shinning (but I’m not complaining!)  The image and papers are Fizzy Moon, the flowers are from Hobby Craft and the ribbon is Mei Flower.

Thank you for visiting, I do appreciate it 🙂

Clearly Besotted Stamps Challenge.

Well so far so good with my blog posts, I just need to keep them up….lol    Today I have a card to share that I’ve made for the ‘Love’ theme challenge over on the Clearly Besotted Stamps blog using the goodies I was lucky enough to win from the last challenge (thank you kindly ladies!)

I have used the stamp set ‘fancy florals’ along with the matching die,  first I stamped the flowers with a ‘brilliance’ ink pad (twilight), you can’t actually see it but the brilliance inks give a lovely pearly finish.  I then cut them out using the matching die and arranged them into the heart shape but not before drawing around a template first, I’m not that good…lol.  The sentiment is from ‘Stampin’Up’ and to finish I added some ‘Ranger’ liquid pearls.

Hope you are all having a good weekend and thank you for visiting me here on my blog, I do so appreciate it 😉

Back Again!

Sorry I haven’t been around for awhile but we’ve been away on holiday and didn’t have much time to blog but on the plus side I did manage to get a bit of crafting done, just haven’t yet photographed them (no surprise there then!)

So instead of posting no card at all, I thought I would reminisce with a couple of oldies which I absolutely adore!

Both of these cards were special orders, they took a bit of time but look amazing when finished.  It’s not very often my Cricut machine sees the light of day lately but I still love it and wish I had a craft room so I could leave it out permanently (I wish, she sigh’s)

I’ve had a lovely week away with the hubby and our boys but always nice to come home and if I’m honest I did miss the internet (wink).

Enjoy the rest of the week whatever you are doing!
