Oh it’s been a while again, how time flies when you’re having fun and fun I did have at the weekend when I went to the ‘Happy Stampers’ festival at Port Sunlight. I think it’s safe to say the highlight of the day was meeting Steph and the DT girls (Amy & Caryn) from Clearly Besotted Stamps they were all so nice! And on that note I have a few cards to show you using the stamps and matching die I bought from the clearly besotted stall 🙂
I have heat embossed the images using ‘Wow’ glitter embossing powder, unfortunately you can’t see the sparkle on this photo but they do look better IRL and the stamp set is Signature Christmas Additions with matching dies.
Can I just say, if my stamping looks a little bit off, well it is….lol I thought I would use a versamark ink pad as it embosses better but not good for stamping onto white card as you can’t see where you’ve stamped! :O (not recommended!)
Have a good week and thank you for stopping by!
Just a quick hello from me today, I don’t know where the time has gone these last two days but it’s flown! Made a couple more charity cards for my local hospice, still using the free papers but this time I’ve added some ‘fizzy moon’ chipboard embellishments.
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
Oh good morning peeps and what a lovely one it is too, lots of sunshine here, YAY!!!! Today I have a card I made for my gorgeous niece who turned 25 yesterday, I know, Friday 13th (yikes!) I don’t think it stopped her celebrating though…lol
She’s such a girlie girl and loves nothing more than shopping, clothes, shoes, shoes and more shoes….sound familiar ladies!? 😉 I just love this cd rom from Katy Sue, it’s amazing and so easy to use, everything is from the cd rom and if you look closely you can just about see the sparkle I’ve added to the shoe and the flower.
Well again, thank you all for stopping by and have yourselves a lovely weekend!
Good morning lovely peeps, it is here anyway because it’s not raining…Yay!!! I can’t believe how long it’s been since my last post, the time is just flying by and I was trying to be good and blog more often!?
So this week I’ve managed to make a card for the challenge over at Lavinia’s blog
the challenge was to make a card and add a flower, I love her work and her stamps, they’re amazing!
I decided to make a ‘New Home’ card as I have a friend who has just moved house and I’ve added my flowers to the corners.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the week!
Hello lovely peeps, not such a lovely day here as it’s been raining all day (boo!) I think that means it’s the weekend (rain) oh well we did have a better summer than we’ve had for awhile, so I suppose we should be grateful for small mercies, as they say.
Anyway onto my card, now this card was made for a belated birthday (as you can see) but not only did I forget the birthday I also forgot to send the belated card and then totally forgot about it and have just found it in a box (clever!) I think I actually made the card around March time :0
The whole card is a download from The Clipart Fairy and you just cut it out and assemble it.
Off to make the dinner now, hubby will be home from work soon.
Hello my lovely friends, not such a lovely Sunday though but I shouldn’t complain because at least it’s not raining (she says in a whispered voice.)
I’ve just got back from a ‘pool party’ with my youngest son, his friend turns 11 on Wednesday so had his party today before they go back to school on Tuesday (YAY!) Do I sound excited…..lol
So this is the card I made for him using the ‘wild card’ cartridge for the Cricut machine, I had in my mind it would be nice and quick to make since it’s all cut out for you…hahaha! Why would I think that!? It’s beyond me because it took just as long as any other card I ever made!
The photo’s are not that great I’m afraid, they don’t really show the colours that well 😦 me and my photography skills 😉
As always, thanks for stopping by I really appreciate it! 🙂
